This form is for a Solicitors Business License. Use this form if you are selling, offering for sale or taking orders for merchandise door-to-door within the Brigham City limits. Excludes newspaper carriers, candidates for public office or persons conducting activities on behalf of religious organizations.

Once the business license office has reviewed and accepted your application, you will be notified that the application fee is due. Solicitors please note the following:

· Badges are issed By Appointment Only and No Appointments after 3:30 p.m.

· Bring one form of current picture ID: Driver’s License, passport, etc.

· We will run a background check through the Brigham City Police Department. No other background check is required.

· We create an official Brigham City solicitor’s badge, which must be worn at all times in plain view while going door to door.

· This license and the accompanying badge are only valid until December 31st of the year in which they are issued.

· This license and the accompanying badge authorize the individual stated thereon to sell door to door in Brigham City only. To sell in other jurisdictions including Box Elder County, the solicitor must apply to the appropriate offices for a solicitor’s license to sell in those jurisdictions.
